Whether you're restoring your C6 Z06, Grand Sport or ZR1, or giving a narrow-body car the curves that it deserves, there a number of vendors that make quarterpanels, all with different processes. Not all OEM or aftermarket scoops will fit all panels, so we've had to adapt our design to compensate.

The OEM SMC parts come in around 3mm thick. Carbon fiber tends to be about the same or thinner, while hand-layup fiberglass is more in the 6mm-7mm range. While that might not sound like much, it's the difference between a brake scoop that is tight and secure, flopping around like crazy or impossible to install.
